as a feature of his continuous witty ideas through fashion, martin margiela was known for his 1996 spring/summer collection through the use of “decieving the eye”. pictures of clothing details on blank garments to trick the eye that these details were actually there. the result is a print of reebok's iconic “club c” silhouette with all it is details completely flat tricking you what is really there.
decorated with a logo patch on the tongue and margiela's iconic white stitching on the back.
